Forge Campus receives 2025 ‘Company of the Year’ award

LOVELAND — The Economic Development Council of Colorado has given the Forge Campus, the former Hewlett-Packard Co. facility in Loveland, its 2025 EDIE “Company of the Year” award.

The former vacant manufacturing site spanning 177 acres and 811,000 square feet of space has been transformed into a collaborative innovation facility. With more than $11 million invested, Forge Campus has increased occupancy from 15% to 73% by attracting more than 50 technology and manufacturing businesses onsite, according to a press statement from the company that owns the facility. 

Forge offers graduated lease structures to permit companies to scale. It also “provides access to on-campus manufacturing and design services and connections to capital, workforce, and industry partners — helping tenants accelerate growth and bring new technologies to market,” the statement said.

Forge Campus hosts public events, workshops, and educational programs. It also engages in statewide economic and legislative initiatives that advance Colorado’s manufacturing sector. 

Jay Dokter, co-owner of Forge Campus, said the award reflects work of a community dedicated to innovation. “Forge Campus exists to help companies grow and create opportunity,” he said.

Josh Kamrath, co-owner, added: “Revitalizing this campus took vision, investment and an unwavering belief in what Northern Colorado can be. We’re proud to help build a place where companies and people can thrive.”
