Jobs of Hope plans spaghetti fundraiser
GREELEY — Jobs of Hope, a Greeley-based nonprofit that helps individuals transition back into the community after incarceration, will conduct Hope Unlocked: Spill the Love, a spaghetti-dinner fundraiser, Sept. 26.
The event will take place at 5:30 p.m. at Zoe’s Cafe & Events, 715 10th St.
“Guests are encouraged to wear all-white attire and embrace every splatter, stain, and drip as a symbol of community and change,” according to a press release. ”Each saucy mark is more than a mess — it’s a donation pledge. For those who prefer to stay spotless, bibs may be purchased as a donation.”
The event will include:
- A keynote address by Brian Bauer, founder of the Abundance Foundation, sharing his story of support and guidance as individuals journey to the point they believe change is possible in their own lives.
- Live music by local musician Chris Romero, providing an eclectic mix of rock, Americana, and acoustic songwriting.
- An Interactive Giving Challenge.
