Local businessmen Jablonski, Vernon die

A pair of prominent Boulder County businessmen who started and ran companies well-known in Boulder and Longmont have died in recent days.

The Times-Call reports that Dave Jablonski died on May 18 and that Butch Vernon passed on May 20. Jablonski, who was 74, owned the Boulder Cafe, which closed last summer. Vernon, who was 66, founded and still owned Longmont hardware store Budget Home Supply.
