Airlines must pay more than $600M in refunds for cancelled flights

The U.S. Department of Transportation is forcing six airlines to pay a total of $622.5 million in refunds to customers for cancelled flights, Colorado Public Radio reports.

Denver-based Frontier Airlines must refund $222 million.
