NW Chamber Alliance asks for attention to transportation funding
The Northwest Chamber Alliance, a coalition of chambers of commerce in Boulder and Broomfield counties, has asked the governor and legislators to improve transportation mobility as a means to improve the economy and quality of life in the region.
In a letter, the organization asked policy-makers to find new revenue sources to fund projects on the state Department of Transportation’s 10-year project list, to conduct discussions with a broad group of stakeholders to find funding sources, and to avoid disproportionately targeting business, employers and workers to contribute to the funding package.
