DENVER — Coloradans seeking Phase 2 unemployment benefits might have to wait weeks to see benefits drop into their bank accounts.
The Colorado Sun reports that benefits provided in the Continued Assistance Act, passed by Congress Dec. 27, have been delayed as the state works to reprogram its unemployment system, a process that already has taken more than five weeks.
