Canadian software company buys Broomfield’s Axion Health
BROOMFIELD and TORONTO — Canadian firm Cority Software Inc. has purchased Axion Health Inc. in Broomfield.
In a press release issued Thursday, the Toronto producer of software said it acquired Axion as part of its employee-health division. The deal’s price was not disclosed.
Axion produces software for hospitals to monitor workplace injuries and manage health-code compliance. Cority makes health and code compliance software for a wider swath of industries.
Cority declined an interview request with BizWest Thursday morning, but CEO Mark Wallace said in a statement that the company is excited to join the state’s technology sector.
“We look forward to working with the team in Colorado to further invest in the product, expand the customer base, and enjoy even more success together,” he said.
It’s unclear how many employees are at Axion, or if the deal will cause any changes in operations or headcount. Axion representatives declined to comment.
