Greeley hires assistant city manager

GREELEY — The city of Greeley has hired Paul Fetherston to be the assistant city manager in charge of finance and administration. He begins work May 6.

Fetherston currently serves as the assistant county administrator for Lake County in Illinois. He has a bachelor of arts degree in political science from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., and a juris doctorate from the Western New England University School of Law.  He has more than 25 years experience in public sector management.

Fetherston will join Greeley’s executive team to provide strategic and administrative management for the departments of human resources, information technology, and finance.   Real estate management will also be under his direction. Responsibilities will include continuing the development of the human resources infrastructure and creation of a broadband service plan for the community.
