U.S. labor secretary to headline CU-Boulder forum Feb. 9

BOULDER — U.S. Labor Secretary Tom Perez will be the keynote speaker at a forum on “creating shared prosperity through conscious capitalism,” to be held Feb. 9 on the University of Colorado Boulder campus.

The forum, sponsored by the university’s Silicon Flatirons Center, will be moderated by CU Law School dean Phil Weiser, with commentary from Ryan Martens, senior vice president of CA Technologies, which purchased Boulder-based Rally Software in 2015, and Jennifer Briggs, head of human resources for Fort Collins-based New Belgium Brewing.

The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Feb. 9 in the Wittemyer Courtroom at the CU law school, on the south end of the Boulder campus. Admission is free, but registration is required online by 9:30 a.m. on the day of the event.
