Dean Lehman resigns as editor of Longmont Times-Call
LONGMONT — Dean Lehman, editor and publisher of the Longmont Times-Call and publisher of the Loveland Reporter-Herald, has announced his resignation from the newspaper company effective Tuesday.
The Times-Call reports that Lehman’s resignation closes a 35-year career with Lehman Communications Corp.
Lehman became publisher in February 2011, when Prairie Mountain Media purchased Lehman Communications Corp., then the owner of the Times-Call, the Reporter-Herald, the Canon City Daily Record and Colorado Hometown Weekly.

Lehman had been part owner of Lehman Communications and, before becoming publisher, was president of the newspaper company from 1987 to 2011. He followed his father, Ed Lehman, who was publisher from 1957 to 2011.
Lehman was editor and general manager of the Reporter-Herald from 1981 to 1987.
He will take on the title of publisher emeritus and work with the editorial board for the Times-Call and Reporter-Herald.
