Platte Valley Medical Center plans Fort Lupton facility
FORT LUPTON — Brighton-based Platte Valley Medical Center, an acute-care hospital, will construct a medical building in Fort Lupton that will house family medicine physicians, occupational medicine services and urgent care.
The one-story, 9,750-square-foot building will be located at the northeast corner of the Safeway retail center parking lot at Colorado Highway 52 and Rollie Avenue. The project is scheduled for completion this fall.
A ground-breaking ceremony will be held for the Platte Valley Medical Plaza at 11 a.m., March 19.

“We are excited to bring new physicians and expanded access to quality medical services to our Fort Lupton community,” said John Hicks, Platte Valley Medical Center’s president and chief executive.
This is the hospital’s second off-site medical office building. The first opened in November 2014 in the Reunion area of north Commerce City.
Health Connect Properties Inc. is the project manager and leasing agent for the remaining space. The architect is Golden-based Studio D-H Architecture and the general contractor is BVB General Contractors of Brighton.
PVMC is a community-owned hospital, which means it is not owned or operated by a health-care system but governed by a community board where decisions are made at a local level.
