Marriott in Louisville sets up bike kiosk
LOUISVILLE – The Courtyard by Marriott in Louisville has installed a B-cycle-type bike-rental kiosk on its property, laying claim to being the first hotel in the nation to have one.
While not part of a bicycle sharing network like the ones available in Boulder or Denver, the bikes at Courtyard Boulder Louisville located off U.S. Highway 36 will provide a way for people to visit nearby attractions, restaurants and biking trails.
The bikes will be available to guests and nearby residents, according to a press statement.
“B-cycles stretch the landscape for our guests and employees at surrounding businesses who don’t have a vehicle or want a ‘greener’ option,´ said general manager Matt Hoffman. “It’s now easier to travel McCaslin Boulevard, get around Old Town and more.”
