Sierra plans expansion in Cheyenne

CHEYENNE – One of Cheyenne’s fastest-growing companies is preparing to expand again.Sierra Trading Post, which operates a retail outdoor wear and equipment outlet store and a mail-order catalog business from the Cheyenne Business Parkway, has purchased another parcel of land adjacent to its facility and plans expansions this year and next, company officials announced.
The nation’s first mail-order outdoor outlet store plans to add 6,000 square feet to its retail store this year, plus add 4,000 square feet to its mezzanine and additional parking, and it plans a 50,000-square-foot facility expansion in 1998.
