Baessler, Hartford homebuilders join forces in Northern Colorado
Greeley-based Baessler Homes and Timnath’s Hartford Homes are joining forces to form Baessler Hartford Homes.
The merger is expected to be finalized by January 2027.
“The combination brings together two companies with deep roots in Northern Colorado,” the homebuilders said in a news release. Hartford has built more than 5,200 homes since its founding in 1988, while Baessler has developed more than 4,500 since 1968.
Baessler CEO Jamie Baessler will hold that position with the combined organization, and Hartford CEO Landon Hoover will assume the roles of chairman and chief financial officer.
“Our companies have spent decades building in the same communities, working with many of the same people and sharing a similar belief that what we build should make a meaningful difference.” Baessler said in the release. “This is an opportunity to bring those synergies together and build something designed for the long term.”
Once the merger is complete, the combined organization will be 100% employee-owned through an employee stock ownership plan, or ESOP. Baessler Homes adopted the ESOP model in 2023.
