Bank of Colorado to relocate in downtown Loveland in November

LOVELAND — Bank of Colorado will open its new, nearly 10,000-square-foot branch in downtown Loveland in mid-November, with a grand opening and community event scheduled for Nov. 20.

The branch is located on the corner of Cleveland Ave. and Third Street,.

Designed by Hauser Architects and built by Elder Construction, the new branch will house approximately 18 local employees and will replace the existing downtown Loveland location at 206 E. Fourth St.  Ground was broken for the new branch late last year.

The new building features a second-floor community room that opens to an outdoor patio overlooking downtown, providing local organizations and civic groups a place to host gatherings and events.

“Downtown Loveland is going through a series of changes and improvements that will enhance the feel of the area for decades to come,” Michael J. Bellus, market president at Bank of Colorado, said in a prepared statement. “The Fourth Street Heart Improvement Plan (known as ‘HIP Streets’) revitalization project is upgrading one of Loveland’s most iconic streets into a  showcase of art and commerce. At Bank of Colorado, we wanted to not only be a part of that change — we wanted to be at the heart of it.

“We aren’t just building a new branch; we are helping to build a stronger community.”

Bank of Colorado’s leaders and staff serve active roles across area organizations including the NoCo Foundation Board of Trustees, Loveland Business Partnership, Loveland Economic Council, Meals on Wheels Loveland Berthoud, and local Rotary groups. Additionally, the bank maintains ongoing sponsorship support for local landmarks and cultural traditions such as the Pulliam Community Building renovation, the Children’s Museum, Sculpture in the Park, Art in the Park and the Loveland Corn Roast Festival.

“We are building in the heart of Loveland because we still believe in being an active participant in the community, not just a bystander,” Bellus said. “We believe that a rising tide lifts all ships. Strong business, civic, nonprofit and cultural elements all need active support from the individuals and businesses that live and work here.”

The bank’s old downtown location operates on the second floor of a multi‑tenant building with limited office space, no drive‑thru lanes and no dedicated parking. The new branch will feature drive‑thru lanes with an ATM Live.
