Illinois-based Head West opens Boulder sub shop
BOULDER — Head West Sub Shop, a small but growing Illinois-based chain of sandwich joints, recently opened its most recent Colorado outpost in Boulder.
The company announced its opening on University Hill at 1600 Broadway on social media this month, highlighting Head West’s specialty: “toasted subs on sweet bread.”
Head West opened its first location outside of Illinois last year in Denver.
In addition to traditional sub shop offerings, Head West’s menu features a number of vegetarian sandwiches, along with a variety of soups and macaroni and cheese.
