Outside Interactive names two new executives

BOULDER — Outside Interactive Inc. has expanded its leadership team with two new appointments.

The Boulder-based company behind the “Outside” media network named Christopher “CJ” Jerard as chief brand officer and Claus Moberg as general manager, mapping.

Jerard has three decades of experience in outdoor media, including as Outside’s chief experience officer. He previously founded several outdoor-media and creative companies before joining Outside, where he helped launch Outside Days, the company’s growing SXSW-style gathering rooted in outdoor culture, community, and creative expression. Jerard will report to Chief Media Officer Heather Dietrick

Moberg joined Outside Interactive Dec. 1, reporting to Lauren Berolini, chief business officer, consumer apps. Moberg will lead the company’s mapping division. He brings 15 years of experience building consumer-technology products and scaling teams. He most recently served as vice president of engineering at Roblox, where he grew the consumer app team from eight people to several hundred engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists during his nine-year tenure.
