University of Colorado Boulder enrollment nears 39K

BOULDER — The four campuses in the University of Colorado system saw record enrollment in the fall semester — 67,843 students — with enrollment at CU’s flagship campus in Boulder up 1% year over year to 38,808 Buffs.

Graduate enrollment dropped 3% over the year, but CU Boulder added 3.1% more undergrads since fall 2024.

Total enrollment was up at University of Colorado Denver and University of Colorado Anschutz but down slightly at University of Colorado Colorado Springs, the system reported last week.
