Patterson joins Exabeam as global channel chief
BROOMFIELD — Craig Patterson has been appointed global channel chief at Exabeam Inc., a global cybersecurity company.
Patterson will lead efforts to drive innovation and collaboration within the channel ecosystem, enhance go-to-market strategies and expand the company’s footprint through strategic partnerships.
“Craig’s proven ability to scale global partner programs makes him the ideal leader to drive our global channel strategy as we aim to capitalize on our momentum post-merger,” Chris O’Malley, CEO of Exabeam, said in a prepared statement. “His strategic approach to channel development, coupled with his cybersecurity experience, will be invaluable as we continue to expand our partner ecosystem and deliver industry-leading security analytics solutions through our channel-first strategy.”
Computer data security company LogRhythm Inc. inked a merger agreement with California-based Exabeam last spring, and then announced that it would lay off 80 workers at Exabeam’s office at 385 Interlocken Crescent in Broomfield. In 2018, Thoma Bravo, a Chicago-based private equity firm, bought a controlling stake in LogRhythm, which was formed in Boulder before moving its headquarters to Broomfield several years ago.
Patterson brings more than 20 years of channel leadership expertise to Exabeam. Before joining the company, Patterson held leadership roles at Aryaka Networks and Lumen Technologies, where he led billion-dollar revenue strategies and scaled programs across global markets.
“Joining Exabeam represents an incredible opportunity to shape the future of cybersecurity through channel excellence,” Patterson said in a prepared statement. “I look forward to working with our global partners to deliver innovative security solutions that help organizations better detect and respond to threats, reduce risk and streamline security operations.”
