Allo Communications to build Boulder fiber network in 2025
BOULDER — Allo Communications LLC, a Lincoln, Nebraska-based telecommunications company, plans to build a fiber-optic broadband network in Boulder in spring 2025.
The network will provide internet, phone and video services to businesses and homes.
“We are extremely pleased to be building a world-class fiber to the premises network in Boulder,” Allo general manager Bob Beiersdorf said in a prepared statement. “The opportunity to offer multi-gig, symmetrical speeds to residents, businesses, government, and the education community with consistent network reliability opens the door to immense possibilities for the city. Partnering with the City of Boulder is paramount in providing equitable services to its residents and that spirit of partnership has been exceptional to date.”In Colorado, Allo has existing networks in Breckenridge, Brighton, Brush, Eaton, Erie, Evans, Fort Morgan, Greeley, Hudson and Kersey. The company also serves communities in Nebraska and Arizona.
