Psychedelic facilitator-training program expands to Colorado
LONGMONT — InnerTrek, an Oregon-based training program for psychedelic therapy facilitators, was recently licensed by the Colorado’s Department of Regulatory Agencies and will offer in-person training retreats at Yellow Barn Farm in Longmont.
“InnerTrek’s expansion into Colorado points to the rise of a regulated model for psychedelic care,” InnerTrek founder Tom Eckert said in a prepared statement. “We’re ready to prepare facilitators to a high standard of care and bring this healing modality to those who need it.”With the passage of Colorado Proposition 122: Natural Medicine Health Act in 2022, voters decriminalized the possession and use of certain psychedelic plants and fungi, opening the door for psychedelic-therapy businesses.
