WELD COUNTY — An oil well near Johnstown that was plugged in 1993 has apparently begun to leak, and state environmental officials are monitoring it.
According to a report at 9News, a yellowish substance shot into the air Tuesday near Weld County Road 50. The material is likely a combination of drilling fluids and oil.
