Crocs doubling Broomfield footprint with HQ move

BROOMFIELD — Crocs Inc. (Nasdaq: CROX), the Broomfield-based maker of casual footwear, is moving its headquarters — but not very far.

The company is pulling up stakes at 13601 Via Varra and setting up shop at a 190,000-square-foot location nearby at 500 Eldorado Blvd.

Crocs moved into the Via Varra location, which can accommodate about 450 workers, fewer than two years ago and has quickly outgrown the roughly 90,000-square-foot space.

The Eldorado Boulevard offices can accommodate roughly 1,000 employees.

Crocs plans to begin tenant improvements in Spring 2022 with move-in expected in early 2023. 

The company will attempt to sublease its current headquarters space.

The headquarters move and expansion comes amid record sales in recent quarters as Crocs has successfully repositioned its brand from dowdy to chic. 

On the heels of record revenues last year, Crocs is projecting to hit sales of $5 billion by 2026.
