Market Station general contractor sues developer, claims it owes $38M

The general contractor on a major project that was recently completed downtown has sued the project’s developer, claiming it is owed $38 million and that the developer and its architecture firm were responsible for “significant delays” to the project that were caused by poor designs.

Omaha-based Kiewit Building Group filed a lawsuit Nov. 12 in Denver District Court against Denver-based Continuum Partners, which developed the 340,000-square-foot, mixed-use Market Station project on the site of a former RTD bus terminal at 1445 16th Street.
