Golden Triangle to move headquarters to Frederick

LONGMONT and FREDERICK — Golden Triangle Construction Inc., which does business as GTC, has begun construction on a new headquarters building at Godding Hollow Parkway and Raspberry Way in Frederick.

GTC’s headquarters is currently at 700 Weaver Park Road in east Longmont.

“This is an exciting move for us,” GTC President Todd Schroeder said in a written statement. “Frederick has retained its small town, family orientation, which resonates for us as a tight-knit firm whose employees value our ‘family feel.’ Additionally, the town’s location on the I-25 corridor will allow us faster access to all of our projects up and down the Front Range. Frederick’s dynamic growth will also present a number of opportunities for us in and around the town, itself,” Schroeder said.

Frederick offered GTC incentives to relocate under a new policy to create jobs in the community.

“A vibrant business community is the heartbeat of our neighborhoods, the spine of our local economy, and the spirit of our town,” Frederick Mayor Tracie Crites said in a statement. “GTC is the first business to apply for the town’s recently adopted economic development incentive policy. Incentives were awarded to GTC as part of its relocation to create a business-friendly process to help stimulate job creation and capital investment in targeted industries in Frederick,” the mayor said.

The new headquarters building will be designed by Intergroup Architects and will be approximately 14,000 square feet. Construction will be completed in December, GTC said, and move in is anticipated by the end of the year.
