In preparation for Republic Services becoming the primary provider of residential recycling, yard trimmings, and trash, residents should now select the best cart size and service schedule for their household needs.

The team includes specialists from different disciplines to address surgical, medical, behavioral and nutritional needs of each patient.

“We have a broad range of services for adults who suffer from the disease of obesity, and we will continue to care for and support those patients after their procedure,” Saltz said.

Patients seeking bariatric surgery work with a bariatric surgeon, a psychologist, a registered dietitian, a nurse practitioner and other specialists as needed. The program includes a free information session that is available virtually.

Patients then complete a comprehensive assessment with a multidisciplinary team. Preparation for surgery can take three to six months, followed by surgery and recovery.

The weight-loss center is located at Banner Fort Collins Medical Center at 4700 Lady Moon Drive.
