Colorado’s aerospace industry prepares for Space Command’s potential move to Alabama

With new President Joe Biden’s Defense Department revisiting President Donald Trump’s decision to move U.S. Space Command from Colorado Springs to Huntsville, Alabama, aerospace companies in Colorado are waiting to see how they will be affected, Colorado Public Radio reports.

While Colorado’s nearly 500 aerospace companies — most of which employ fewer than 10 people — await the decision, state lawmakers are lobbying to keep Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base.
