Louisville Robotics company raises $14.65M

LOUISVILLE — AMP Robotics Inc. raised nearly $15 million this week, almost five times more than its entire previous fundraising haul. 

The Louisville company raised just under $14.65 million out of its overall $16.94 million goal via equity and options sales, according to filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Wednesday afternoon.

AMP builds robotic arms and computer vision software to automatically identify and separate recyclable materials from a larger trash stream.

The company previously raised a total of $3.5 million, according to data compiled by Crunchbase.
