Colorado Enterprise Fund wins SBA award
DENVER — The Colorado Enterprise Fund has won the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Jody C. Raskind Lender Award, according to an SBA news release.
The award is given annually to “a mission-focused lender that has distinguished itself in helping small businesses start, grow and expand,” the release said.
The fund is a nonprofit lender that provides loans to small businesses unable to obtain traditional bank funding.

“The Jody C. Raskind Lender Award is the most prestigious award presented by the SBA to a
mission-based community lender nationwide,” Frances Padilla, SBA’s Colorado District
Director, said in a prepared statement. “I congratulate Ceyl Prinster, and the entire staff at the Colorado Enterprise Fund, for their dedication to providing access to capital and technical training to our statewide small business community.”
The award will be presented May 10 at a ceremony in Washington, D.C.
