David Crosby to open Boulder International Film Festival

BOULDER — The Boulder International Film Festival will be opened by musician David Crosby — of Crosby, Stills and Nash — and his film, David Crosby: Remember My Name.

The movie will open BIFF after coming straight from Sundance. The film was produced by award-winning director Cameron Crowe. The film’s director, A.J. Eaton, will also be in attendance. Following the screening, Crosby will participate in a question and answer session.

The event starts at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 28. The screening starts at 7:45 p.m. Tickets are $95 each and are on sale now online. The entire program will be announced Feb. 8.

The film festival runs from Feb. 28 to March 3.

“We’re very excited to feature this outstanding film for Opening Night at BIFF and are honored David Crosby will join us for a Q & A after the screening,” Robin Beeck, BIFF’s executive director, said in a statement. “David Crosby: Remember My Name tells the inspirational and moving story of Crosby’s incredible life and career, and will be a fantastic way to kick off our very special 15th anniversary year.”
