Beer company produces THC infused brew

ARVADA — An Arvada company is now brewing a non-alcoholic beer that replaces alcohol with THC, the active ingredient in marijuana.

Ceria Beverages, the Arvada company, partnered with Ebbu, a cannabist firm, to produce beers that produce sensations similar to marijuana — relaxation, happiness, euphoria, according to a report in the Cannabist.

The marriage of beer and marijuana grew out of a desire to keep craft beer consumption growing despite threats from craft distilleries, local wineries, and the marijuana industry.
