Houston developer plans mixed-use project in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS — A Houston-based shopping-center developer plans to build a new mixed-use project on Colorado Springs’ north side. The Gazette reports that Realm Realty Co., which last year paid $22 million for a 77-acre site near Interstate 25 and Woodmen Road, plans a development of at least 264,000 square feet.
The project — located on the former site of the Current USA direct-marketing facility — could include several retail buildings, office space, industrial uses and a hotel or apartment building.
