Erie eyes permanent ban on recreational marijuana shops

The town of Erie is poised to convert its moratorium on recreational marijuana shops a permanent ban.

A divided town board this week is slated to vote on the permanent ban next week, the Colorado Hometown Weekly reports. The town’s current moratorium expires at the end of this year, but a majority of board members at a meeting on Tuesday expressed support for a ban.
