Hurrell becomes director at NCAR Sept. 2

BOULDER – James W. Hurrell has taken over as director of the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Boulder, replacing Roger Wakimoto, who left NCAR earlier this year to lead the Directorate for Geosciences at the National Science Foundation.
