Vistas complex sold for $28 million

LONGMONT – The Vistas in Longmont senior living community has been sold to a Chicago-based real estate investment trust for $28 million and is under new management.

Ventas Inc. (NYSE: VTR), a REIT that invests in senior housing and medical facilities across the nation, acquired the community at 2310 Ninth Ave. The property previously had been owned by Aqua Vista LLC. Ventas formed VTR Vistas Longmont LLC to make the transaction, according to property records.

Atria Senior Living Group Inc., a Louisville, Kentucky-based company, will operate the community. Atria operates more than 120 communities with 13,000 residents in 27 states, according to…
