Banner Health to extend emergency services
The new facility will be located adjacent to Summit View, located at 2001 70th Ave., and is expected to be ready for use this summer.
The emergency department at Summit View will be staffed by certified emergency physicians from the same group that provides emergency care at NCMC. Patients who need to be hospitalized will be transferred to NCMC for their ongoing care.

Medical imaging, laboratory services and a pharmacy will continue to operate at Summit View Commons.
The announcement comes just over a month after Banner competitor Poudre Valley Health System said it would construct a $14.5 million, 22,000-square-foot facility at the intersection of 71st Avenue and 10th Street in Greeley. The expansion effort by Banner Health also follows the recent announcement of a banner partnership with Kaiser Permanente that aims to expand options for Kaiser Permanente members.
