AMLI pays $78 million for apartments

BROOMFIELD – AMLI Residential is continuing its local investment spree, purchasing a 500-unit apartment complex in Broomfield for $78.83 million.

The Chicago-based developer and manager of luxury apartments purchased the seven-year-old complex May 31 from a group led by Greystar Real Estate Partners.

The complex at 210 Summit Blvd. has been rechristened the AMLI at Flatirons. It had previously been known as the Summit at Flatirons.

The AMLI at Flatirons is the company’s second major purchase in Broomfield in the past year. The company bought the AMLI Arista apartments, at 8200 Arista Place, last fall for $55.55 million. The company also filed plans with the Broomfield Planning Department in January to build a 348-unit complex in Interlocken.
