Fort Collins council gives initial OK for smaller house sizes
FORT COLLINS — The size of houses in the city’s core older neighborhoods
would be limited to 27 percent of their lot’s square footage after an
initial vote by the Fort Collins City Council on Jan. 4.
The council voted 3-2 to approve a formula that calls for a new limit on
the size of a new or expanded home in the Eastside/Westside
neighborhoods in and near the downtown area. The action was taken in
