eCrypt begins trading on OTC BB

BOULDER – eCrypt Technologies Inc. in Boulder, an information security firm focusing on the wireless industry, has begun trading on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board under the symbol ECRY.

Its flagship product “eCrypt,” is an encryption software for wireless e-mail on BlackBerry smartphones, and is available under a perpetual license or on a pay-per-use basis.

eCrypt said its software is available for the BlackBerry smartphone operating system, and it prevents unwanted access to e-mail messages during transmission and storage on servers and PCs.
