Chautauqua Dining Hall reopens

BOULDER – Chautauqua Dining Hall has reopened after a fire shut it down for more than two months.

The fire began on the grill in the kitchen during a Sunday brunch in March. Susan Tate, the manager on duty, noticed a blaze in the kitchen, and the cooks confirmed the fire had migrated into the hood after the fire suppression system failed.

During the last two months the dining hall has been closed, the kitchen was rebuilt and renovations have been made. Chautauqua is serving breakfast and lunch Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., dinner from 5 to…
