Here’s a rundown of Poudre Valley’s structure, divisions

Understanding the many different elements of Poudre Valley Hospital is well-nigh impossible, at least without a flow chart or, in this case, a narrative explanation.

The Poudre Valley Hospital District was established in 1960 as a public taxing district and operated Poudre Valley Hospital until 1994.

In September, The Children’s Clinic in Fort Collins and Poudre Valley Health Care formed a partnership to provide financial stability for the clinic as it prepared to offer additional services to the public, including dental care.
The clinic will continue its volunteer-support fund-raising activities and grant writing. The clinic will now be a separate nonprofit entity within the Poudre Valley Health Care system.
Poudre Valley Health Care also is creating a physician’s network and operates Poudre Care Connection, a home-health agency. Both Poudre Valley Health Care and the Poudre Health Services District are building various clinics across the city to increase accessibility.

Lastly, the Poudre Valley Hospital Foundation works to raise funds for the hospital and its various causes.
