Locals to be honored for engagement with arts in business
DENVER — Two local award winners have emerged through the Colorado Business Committee for the Arts’ 2025 Business for the Arts Awards, which honors individuals and businesses for their engagement and partnerships with their arts.
In all, 12 honorees will be celebrated at the Business for the Arts Awards luncheon on April 22, 2025, at Metropolitan State University of Denver. The event is the committee’[s largest fundraiser of the year.
Greeley’s WeldWerks Brewing Company LLC will be honored for partnering with the Weld Walls Festival, in which it provided in-kind marketing and operational support, and also for hosting the weekend event at the brewery in downtown Greeley.

The city of Longmont’s Laura Moody, redevelopment revitalization manager for the city, through which she used her experience form Leadership Arts in 2014 to roll out the Aurora Cultural Arts District, 40 West Arts and West Colfax BID in Lakewood, as well as revitalization projects in Longmont.
