What’s your proudest moment either personally or professionally?

Professionally, I’m always very proud of Fort Collins city government when I observe an employee treating people with kindness and respect when no one else is looking.  Personally, I’m always proud when I observe one of my three children helping others.

How do you like to unwind?

I run, read and knit.  I also love to just hang around with friend and laugh. 

Who is your mentor or role model?

I have had so many wonderful people in my life leading the way and teaching me different things.  My 6th grade teacher, Mrs. Everett was influential early on.  Bev Schmitt Bacon and Mims Harris have set a high bar for me in my adult life.  

What’s ahead for you personally or professionally?

Honestly, I set out in life to serve and I’ll keep doing that.  Whether that means more elected positions or returning to serve in the Peace Corps, it’s all about serving others.
