Developer plans large Westminster mixed-use project

WESTMINSTER — A real estate development partnership led by Centennial-based Oread Capital & Development LLC’s Jeff Handlin is planning a mixed-use retail and residential development that could include as many as 2,350 homes, according to a Denver Post Report.

The project, located on a roughly 150-acre parcel northwest of the Federal Boulevard and W. 84th Avenue, is called The Uplands. Wesminster planning documents show the project was initially referred to as Rose Hill.

The Uploads could take long as 20 years to be built out, the project’s website shows.
