Blackfox expands veterans program to Colorado Springs

LONGMONT — Blackfox Training Institute, based in Longmont, is expanding a program offering advanced manufacturing training for veterans to Colorado Springs.

The Colorado Springs Business Journal reports that Blackfox’s Advanced Manufacturing Program for Military Veterans teaches courses aimed at requirements for aerospace and defense manufacturing. The program trains and certifies veterans transitioning out of the armed forces.

Blackfox’s veterans program in Longmont has graduated more than 200 students. The Colorado Springs program will be located on a campus near one of the city’s military bases.
