Launch Longmont coworking space closes
The entrepreneurs who opened coworking space Launch Longmont in the former Times-Call newspaper building at 350 Terry St., last year have pulled the plug on the venture.
The Times-Call reports that Launch Longmont closed recently due to construction delays that restricted the city’s only coworking space’s, well, space. Co-founder Terry Gold told the paper the business “needed more room to become profitable.” Launch Longmont, which had 1,500 square feet on the first floor, had been planning on moving into another 8,000 square feet on the second floor.
Building owner Jamie St. John told the paper he’s working on a lease with another user for a coworking space.
