California firm buys Cambridge House Apartments in Fort Collins for $13.5M

FORT COLLINS — A California-based private-equity real estate investment firm has acquired the Cambridge House Apartments in Fort Collins for $13.5 million.

Bridge Partners, based in Walnut Creek, Calif., using the entity Bridge-Cambridge LP, acquired the 18-unit apartment complex at 1113 W. Plum St. near the Colorado State University campus from Cambridge House LLC, according to public records.

The complex, built in 1966, is made up of six three-story buildings and a total of 18 units and 16,367 square feet on three acres, according to public records.

Cambridge House LLC, an entity registered to Chris Ray of Fort Collins, purchased the complex in 2011 for $10.4 million, according to public records.

Attempts to reach Ray and Bridge Partners were not successful.
