SST returns manufacturing to state

LOUISVILLE – Sound Surgical Technologies LLC in Louisville will contract two Colorado companies to manufacture its disposable products that previously were made overseas.

Front Range Tooling Inc. in Longmont and IPAX Inc. in Englewood will produce canister and tubing products for Sound Surgical’s VASER Lipo System, a liposuction system that uses ultrasonic energy to break apart unwanted fat while preserving connective tissue.

“We are thrilled to bring the disposables business and associated manufacturing jobs back to Colorado and look forward to a successful partnership with our new domestic vendors,´ said Dan Goldberger, Sound Surgical Technologies’ chief executive, in a statement.
