Web site answers vet’s questions

BOULDER — A new Internet program to inform veterans, reservists and National Guard members about employment and re-employment rights debuted recently.

The U.S. Department of Labor computer program offers a question/answer format to imitate the interaction a person might have with a human expert.

It answers questions about employee eligibility and job entitlements; employer rights and obligations; and benefits and remedies available under the law. It joins a similar program set up to explain veterans preferences in hiring for federal government jobs.
