Colorado Business Bank aids charities
The bank, a division of CoBiz Financial (Nasdaq: COBZ) has locations in Boulder and Louisville. Colorado Business Bank also gave $150,000 to Florence Crittenton Services in Denver at the same time as the Blue Sky Bridge donation.
Paige Norton, president of the bank in Louisville, headed the 12th Annual Biz Bash to raise money for the charity. In her fundraising role, Norton coordinated a Los Lonely Boys concert on April 26 at Denver’s Fillmore Auditorium.

The bank’s annual Biz Bash – an annual concert with a nationally known singer or group – was started 12 years ago, and has raised more than $3 million in Denver and Phoenix. All employees of the CoBiz Financial family of services are involved in raising funds, including Colorado Business Bank, CoBiz Insurance, CoBiz Trust, CoBiz Wealth, Financial Designs Ltd. and Green Manning & Bunch.
Applications are being accepted for the 2013 Colorado event. Organizations serving at-risk youth are invited to visit the fund-raising website at bizbash.org to complete an application request.
